“The commitment to a genuine bed and breakfast experience shines through, particularly with the in-house chef crafting hearty, home-cooked breakfasts that set a warm tone for the day. Several rooms, like the Garden Room and Sage Room, impress with their romantic ambiance and thoughtful touches such as fireplaces and private porches, though some layouts, like the Mesa Verde room's split-level design, warrant a clear understanding of accessibility beforehand. While the ranch's remote setting fosters tranquility, proximity to Durango means factoring in travel time, especially for early morning excursions. The staff's attentiveness, including a notable upgrade, contributes positively to the serene, Spanish-influenced atmosphere of the property.”
